Anna Kendrick Gets Drunk During Interview & Keeps the Honesty Coming
First things first: I want to be best friends with Anna Kendrick. Now that that's said and done, Kendrick is being open and honest about her interview for the December issue of Marie Claire by admitting to being drunk during her chat. Don't believe me? The Into the Woods actress tweeted about her alcohol intake and, apparently, she loved every minute of it.
Right away, the interviewer reveals she and Kendrick partook in some adult beverages. Part of the chat reads, "We're sitting in the back of an SUV in traffic, an hour late for our dinner reservation and tipsy enough from the bartending class we'd taken at the Varnish, a speakeasy-ish bar in downtown L.A., that I feel comfortable delving into Kendrick's inner psyche." Now this is what I'm talking about when it comes to conducting an interview! As for what else goes down during her meeting with the reporter, in the issue, which will be released Nov. 18, Kendrick talks about her role as a new type of Cinderella, how she was perceived in high school, and her fame following her Oscar nomination in 2010.
And, as you can see for yourself with the tweet below, Kendrick had no problem confessing to her drunk state and even says she "didn't fight it." Seriously, she's amazing. The fact that she is willing to admit to her drunkeness solidifies my need to be her BFF. I, too, like to indulge in nice, cold alcoholic beverages from time to time (don't we all?). Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying everyone should go get drunk or that you need to be under the influence to be my friend (I might need to have a few to be yours, though), but this honesty, once again, shows her amazing qualities. She's funny, smart, successful, talented, candid, and has no shame. That's my kind of woman.
Who else wants to go get a drink, or two, with this freaking amazing woman? Call me, maybe, Anna!
