Michael Finally Admits Why He Called Off His Wedding
The 90 Day Fiancé craze is in full swing as the latest season draws to a close, and it seems like everyone's on edge - including the stars, as they gather for the expected post-air recap.
90 Day Fiancé a reality series from TLC that focuses on American men or women who have fiancés from foreign countries entering the U.S. on a K-1 visa. That k-1 visa allows them 90 days to reside in the U.S., by the end of which they either have to get married or get out.
Most couples manage to figure out in that 90 days whether they actually want to marry, but one couple in particular, it seemed, was doomed to split from the start.
Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva had a whirlwind romance that had more than its share of ups and downs. The ups were huge, and the downs were just as monumental - to the point that by the morning of their wedding, Youngquist wasn't so sure he wanted to go through with it at all.
As the couples started arriving at the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All, the standard post-season breakdown for series like these, it was clear to everyone in attendance that Youngquist and Mordovtseva still had a lot of issues to work out.
When the host of the show, Shaun Robinson, asked Youngquist why he called off the wedding, it was clear he wasn't excited to answer the question.
With a deep sigh, he answered, "The actual night before the wedding, um, I got into my own head. I went down to the river and I was gone for about five or six hours and ugh...I got scared. I was overthinking things. Just felt a lot of pressure, um, I was just feeling lost...I was just not ready to get married that day."
Youngquist and Mordovtseva did eventually tie the knot two days later, at their ranch in Washington state, but with this couple there's never a sure sign they'll stay together - fans will just have to wait and see.
