Rick Ross and his $280 000 Ferrari 458 Italia
Maybach Music Group’s customized Ferrari 458 Italia looks a little odd and crazy!
The MMG, a record label owned by Rick Ross, decided to modify the Ferrari model. The end result was a gigantic 3-piece wheels 21-inch Ferrari painted with bright green and flat gray camouflage. The car’s nose was decorated with sharp shark-looking teeth on both sides.
MMG presented the customized car in line with the release of its collaboration album Self Made 3 which came out in stores on September 17.
The Ferrari 458 Italia normally costs $280,000. It it is just among his expensive rides in his car collection. Others include a Bentley, Fisker Karma, Lamborghini Murcielago, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Mercedes-Benz CLS and Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.
Meanwhile, the MMG CEO also talked Mercedez Benz’s decision to discontinue its vehicle line. MMG was named after the Mercedez Benz Maybach model. A Maybach model costs from $350,000 to more than $1 million.
"I think, just that level of luxury is just inspiration for people who started, like myself, who just looked and fantasized. I look at it as it makes the brand even more exclusive now. I think the cars are going to become even more expensive now, so everybody who has one, hold on to it for a little while.”
Ross also assured he will continue making music with the Maybach Music Group despite the extinction of the model.
He added, "When we say Maybach Music, it's not about the car, it's just about the level of quality and the time that we put into the sound and that was just a way to express it where people could really understand it. We done got a lot of love, so shout out to everybody that supports double M-G."
